Buena Onda Focene — Restaurant in Fiumicino

Terrible service. I can give them one star only for the nice location and cozy atmosphere. There was no service at all - when we finally managed to find a waitress, she told us the kitchen was closed. That was fine with us, so we went to the bar to order drinks instead.

After paying, we waited for quite a while. When we went back to ask what was happening, we discovered they hadn’t even started preparing anything! We had to hand them our bill, remind them of our order, and they were about to throw it away and make only part of it.

I’m not sure if they simply don’t care about tourists or if they treat everyone this way, but the service was truly...

Come stabilimento non è male, bar non male, aperitivi da rivedere. Ci sono stato 2 volte. Prima esperienza soddisfacente: drink e sacchettino di fritti (tutti da busta di surgelati praticamente) a prezzo onesto. Il sacchettino non era abbondante, ma per il prezzo pagato ci stava. In quest’occasione sottolineo che eravamo sotto i 10€ a testa (7/8€ non ricordo ma li intorno) con sacchetto compreso con la bevanda. Ci torno oggi, ferragosto, per la seconda volta: pessimo. 20€ per due drink e due sacchettini (gli stessi della volta precedente ma non più compresi e con 5 pezzettini CONTATI tra fritti e rustici, qualcuno freddo a tal punto da far dubitare che sia di oggi, considerando che alla nostra richiesta di cibo fritto il cameriere ci fa “non so se sono ancora pronti (i fritti)”). Abbiamo avuto contatti con 3 persone: chi ci ha indicato il tavolo, chi ci ha preso l’ordine, chi ha portato il conto, 2/3 professionali e adatti al luogo (la 2a stella è merito loro). La cameriera che ci ha indicato il tavolo (jasmine(?)) è tutta una storia a parte: arriviamo alle 17 chiedendo “scusi, possiamo sederci qui?” “Per aperitivo o cena” (cena alle 17? Ma che stiamo a Reykjavík) “Aperitivo” “Questi no che sono prenotati” Intanto arrivano due sue amiche che chiedono un tavolo per 2 per loro e la professionalissima cameriera le fa accomodare al tavolo che aveva appena indicato come prenotato (non per loro da come hanno chiesto il tavolo). Successivamente sentiamo altri camerieri che le chiedono di non apparecchiare per cena alle 17 perché altrimenti mancano tavoli per aperitivi. Peccato perché come...

Wow! A restaurant and bar on the beach in Rome! Who would have guessed. It was just a couple blocks from our B&B near the airport. Lorenzo took really great care of us as we were clearly not part of mostly local crowd. Dinner was at 730pm which for our US family was a bit late, but when in Rome! Had drinks and apps to hold us over. The people watching was excellent as people came and went from a day on the beach. A DJ played reggae and other tune. Fun, unexpected night out! Just go and get your toes...
