L'Oasi Verde — Restaurant in Follo

We tried to have dinner here on a Saturday night. They would not seat us, stating they were full with reservation. At that time they were not at 25% capacity but ok....maybe this is true. We wanted to give it a try so our air BNB hosts booked us a reservation for Sunday night as they would not seat us without one. The service was slow, our order was wrong, we felt completely ignored. Our server asked us what we wanted for dessert before our mains had been served. The food was average. It became apparent during our two hours at the restaurant, watching the service provided to the locals , that we were treated differently because we did not speak Italian . I would highly recommend Al Vecchio Mulino restaurant, just down the street. They were so accommodating, allowed us to take our time and use Google translate to help. We had an awesome dinner tonight at L’ Oasi Verde! The service was absolutely fantastic, and the food... oh my goodness, it was hands down the best meal I've ever had in Europe! We kicked off the meal with the most amazing Panacacchi pancake dish - trust me, it was out of this world! And then we decided to go for a steak, and let me tell you, it was perfection, juicy, and so flavorful. And to complement our meal, we had a lovely litter of local white wine. It was the perfect choice! And for dessert, we indulged in the most delicious teramasu - it was absolute heaven! And the best part? All of this for just $65 USD. Can you believe it? Con il menù fisso una volta ci mangiavi tris di testaroli e panigacci, spendendo 17€ a persona. Ora prendendo solo uno dei due piatti menzionati a testa, ti fanno spendere comunque 22€ a persona prezzo menù fisso anche se in realtà non lo è. Considerato poi che uno su tre è un bambino e per cui mangia da bambino e non da adulto, credo che i prezzi siano notevolmente alti. Ma la cosa che mi ha veramente infastidito è stato quando abbiamo chiesto delucidazioni sul conto, e il gestore in modo arrogante e sgarbato, ci ha subito liquidato dicendo che ci aveva anche fatto lo sconto. Rafforzando la tesi che ormai è diventato più conveniente andare a mangiare pesce al molo Italia, anziché semplice farina acqua e sale accompagnata da due affettati e un po' di formaggio. Per fortuna che a Podenzana (patria del panigaccio) ci sono ancora molte attività dove gustare i panigacci, senza spendere delle fortune. A Podenzana per esempio, nello stesso periodo abbiamo speso 37€ contro 66€, poco più di 12€ a persona contro 22€. Poi nelle recensioni di giugno di TripAdvisor, leggi che hanno preso tris di testaroli, panigacci è tagliata per due spendendo 60€, 30€ a persona che va più che bene.
