Max'S Beer Garden — Restaurant in Formia

This business does not welcome English / Americans! At 7:30pm, our family of seven requested a table and the host stated they were fully booked, no availability ALL evening. We walked on and found another place for dinner. On our return, we were walking back to our rented condo, we passed Max’s…. There were only 4 tables occupied and many, many open tables! The time was well after 8:30pm! I’d rather be turned away up front over receiving contaminated food. Beware if you are English and offered a seat at this...

VERY VERY BAD!!! First of all, they lied us that they have there a special plate, but when we took seat it came out that there was not this plate.

also the chairs and tables are very ugly and uncomfortable!

the waiters are very unprofessional, they do not know from what the plate is! and they are very unpolite and cant explain nothing!

if we could, we would give to this restoutant...

Brutta esperienza la scorsa estate con 2 linguine all' astice, pasta cruda, riportata cruda e fredda . Oggi ho voluto dargli una nuova occasione ma è stato un disastro a partire dalla prenotazione su the forc che prevedeva uno sconto, che prima hanno applicato e che dopo si sono ripresi perché non hanno specificato quando abbiamo pagato che i 4 limoncelli e 1 grappa dopo il conto nn erano offerti! Ma proseguiamo... all' interno del locale circola un gatto che indisturbato veniva sotto al tavolo con la testa alzata in cerca di cibo , abbiamo ordinato diverse portate di carne e tra loro doveva esserci la tagliata e pollo che poi non abbiamo ricevuto e appena fatto notare che mancava, in realtà l' hanno portata ma poi fatta pagare a parte nel conto. Le zanzare ci hanno mangiato le gambe pur essendo all' interno del locale e quando siamo arrivati non volevano neanche darci il tavolo prenotato ma uno defilato pure essendo noi i primi ad arrivare in sala Mi dispiace molto ma non ci si comporta in questo modo , bocciata anche la cameriera che ha solo creato disguidi e dato...
