Ristorante Del Pescatore — Restaurant in Fumone

I had lunch with a big group (25pp) on a Saturday. We had booked several days in advance but they were terribly short staffed, with only one waiter available for serving our table. Service was very slow (we waited 40 min for the 1st course, though it was a set menu booked in advance, and we arrived on time). The risotto was ok, they did two rounds with that. The second "primo" was delicious gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and cured pork belly but they served it a bit sparingly and did not do a second round. They served two types of roasted meats, one was very tender but quite fatty (veal or pork) while the other was a leaner and more gamey beef cut, though well flavoured and properly marinated. By the time the waiter had served the meat to everyone and started serving the salad, we had long finished our meat. The dessert was a decent but not very decadent layer cake. The interior ambience and decor wasn't particularly refined or artsy, though the view on the lake is quite pretty. The local red wine served with the set menu was enjoyable. I stayed with my family here end of August. A friend of mine has recommended this place both for the location and the food. The location of the trattoria is great, located right at the border of Lago di Canterno with great views on the valley. In terms of food one can choose between fish dishes and meet dishes. Aperto da molte generazioni, questo ristorante tipico offre menu di carne e pesce , assaggiata la carne cotta al momento sulla piastra messa al di fuori del locale la location, può risultare un pò da rinnovare ma la caratteristica di un posto old stile si sposa bene con l'ambientazione naturalistica. A mio avviso pulito, l'igiene è fondamentale in un ristorante , il servizio veloce e preciso in quanto molto personale in servizio i prezzi veramente equilibrati quindi un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Una sala molto capiente e panoramica, preso antipasto prosciutto e mozzarella di bufala prodotti locali suppongo gustosi, le mozzarelle un pò piccoline ma buone. Le fettuccine ai funghi porcini al dente con pasta credo fatta in casa e porcini arrostiti veramente gustosa. presi arrosticini braciola di maiale e salsicce supponiamo tutti prodotti locali non siamo specialisti della carne ma tutto cotto a puntino e fresco. verdure ripassate buone e rucola e grana buono dovevo chiedere i condimenti che non hanno portato standard. Il dolce buono il tiramisu con crema al pistacchio e granella. Il tutto con due amari e due caffè compreso di acqua e coperto per due persone quindi 65 euro onestissimo, inoltre bel panorama sul lago dalle vetrate e possibilità quando si esce di fare una bella passeggiata digestiva sulle rive del lago.
