RICOMINCIO DA 3 — Restaurant in Furnari

The worse restaurant we were in 14 days in Sicily for service..in fact I think the worse I have experienced in a very , very long time. It was total chaos. The girl who was taking our order was totaly unfriendly and had no personality whatsoever. We were waiting for more then an hour when we asked why we still didn't get starters. We were told that we didn't have a reservation... so . And that they will check with the chef.. nobody came to tell us anything after that.. we were asking for a drink at least 3 times. we had 4 children in our group of 8. Shortly after the reminder we started getting starters one after another. Then main course. Kids still didn't get any food 2 hours after we came. We have cancelled the rest of the food as it was nearly 23.30 . The food was OK... but the service was absolutely a disaster.. I would definitely not go back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Everywhere we were in Sicily was amazing and everyone was very friendly apart from this place. A shame as it was our last dinner before heading...

In May 2022 I visited the place alone. I ordered a pizza and they simply forgot about my order. When I told that I want to leave because I’m cold, they prepared the pizza in 2 minutes and they offered it to me. The pizza was stretchy, did not like it at all. In October we were 9. We had a transfer from the boat to te pizzeria at 8. They wanted to serve my gnocchis at 10. I sent it back, it was too late. In the meantime locals arrived, they had starter then main course, and they went away. Better to buy something in the small supermarket and eat it on the boat than to come...

All the staff here were great. Very friendly and accommodating. The food was also very good. Their brick-oven pizza is delicious. The bartender, Luciano, did an amazing job. He is very knowledgable when it comes to making cocktails and served our group several great whisky sours and espresso martinis!
