Rude Club — Restaurant in Gaeta

We visited Rude yesterday and unfortunately had a mixed experience. The octopus burger I ordered was overcooked and rubbery, and the dry white wine tasted more like vinegar than anything else. The baby pork ribs were served cold in the center, and after asking for them to be reheated, after 25 minutes they still weren't bought back out, We eventually asked for them to be taken off the bill, and to the restaurant’s credit, they did remove the charge.

The chicken tenders were also disappointing—burnt on the inside—and the portion of gyozas we ordered came out overcooked and dry. However, the kids’ burgers were excellent—juicy, flavorful, and clearly the highlight of the night.

Stumbled across this insane bar and restaurant whilst on holiday in Gaeta Italy. Very lucky to have got a table as generally always busy. The food was tasty af and had depth of flavour with a wide range to chose from on the menu, including a few vegetarian options which can be hard to come by. The chicken skewer and the sauce that comes with it is amazing. The hamburger is great but I asked to removed the nachos and nacho cheese haha. That does not belong on a burger. Without those ingredients the burger is perfect. And it's even better when you add the chicken skewer sauce to the burger. Bread is mediocre and no olive oil or balsamic is offered with the bread.
