A Gem That Became Our Home!

We stayed nearby for about 20 days, and after realizing the food at our hotel wasn’t great, we went looking for an alternative… and stumbled upon what turned out to be one of the best restaurants I have ever had the pleasure to visit. From the very first meal, we knew we had found something special. We had lunch and dinner here for about 20 days, and we had the pleasure to try out almost everything - absolutely amazing!

Andrea, the owner (and chef) is an absolutely fantastic person, and not only him. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. The fish is always fresh, the ingredients are top-quality, and every dish bursts with authentic flavor. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and being so close to the sea, you can feel the gentle breeze and smell the ocean while enjoying their incredible seafood—it’s pure bliss.

They took care of me, my wife, and our baby as if we were part of their own family — and by the end, we truly felt that way!! I still dream of their "tagliolini al nero di seppia" — without a doubt the best I’ve ever tasted. We miss you already, and if we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely return, not just for the food, but to see these wonderful people again.

MAKE SURE THE KITCHEN IS OPENED AND FUNCTIONAL !!!

usually no main food is served after 15 o'clock

only frisa (miserable one piece of bread for 2,5eur with extra cost for each topping) and 3 types of salads (low quality, bowls are half empty and each costs 6 or 7eur...)

..this frisa is bought in bulk (not individually made/produced) and this one just instantly crumbled when picked-up from the plate

cocktail 5eur for 1/2 pint (aprox 280ml), mostly filled with chuncks of ice

all served in full of plastic (dish, cutlery, cups, straws etc.)

no "coperti" (=cover charge) was included in the bill, YET a tipp was left for the...

Antipasto di mare 15€ (polpo seppie gamberi cozze). Avevamo chiesto se il pesce fosse fresco avevano risposto assolutamente si. Una volta arrivato a tavola l’antipasto a tavola si capiva perfettamente che il pesce fosse surgelato. Il prezzo anche decente se solo fosse stato pesce fresco. I primi, porzione nella media costo giusto, a me personalmente sono piaciuti. Sui SECONDI torniamo allo stesso discorso degli antipasti, io e unaltro mio amico abbiamo preso la tagliata di tonno (avevamo chiesto una cottura al sangue) arrivata al tavolo il cameriere ci disse che il tonno era “leggermente” andato avanti di cottura. Completamente stra cotto! Abbiamo chiesto di portarci via il piatto per poterci rifare la tagliata. Dopo circa 10-15 minuti ci hanno ripotato la tagliata. Era scottata all’esterno è congelata all’interno. Questo era il segnale chiaro che il pesce fosse congelato! Come contorno abbiamo preso le patatine, su quelle niente da dire. Un mio consiglio personale con tutto rispetto, dite al cliente sempre la verità perché non sono tutti gentili che si fanno passare queste cose come niente. Siamo ragazzi di 19-20 anni ci pareva pure brutto discutere.. Mi dispiace perché siamo venuti in vacanza e volevamo mangiare del pesce fresco invece non è stato così. Prezzo finale per 5 persone con 3 antipasti, 4 primi 5 secondi 2 bottiglie d’acqua 2 bottiglie di Chardonnay da 20€ l’una + 4 caffè prezzo totale 260€ Prezzo a mio parare completamente giusto se il pesce fosse stato fresco.
