food nice waitress +/- really low prices waiting too hectic atmosphere only with reservation

We have visited this restaurant two times. Both times was the food pretty good. We can give sadly just 2 stars, because the service is sadly really bad. 😭

Don’t get me wrong, the waiters are really friendly and did what they could. It is probably a family restaurant, so his daughter is a waitress and also sometimes in the kitchen. You could see, that everybody there is a little overwhelmed...

We were waiting for more than 30 minutes just to become a menu, then another 30 minutes for the owner to come to us and took our orders. For the food we were waiting approximately 45-55 minutes.

Another problem is efficiency. Because everything takes here so much time, people are sitting there at least 2 hours. This restaurant is open from 19:00 till 22:00, but that means only one slot of reservations is possible. That is highly inefficient. With these really low prices and one slot of reservations, you can’t ever make much money to pay off this beautiful property.

We wanted to give the feedback to the owner personally, but he is always so overwhelmed with the stress in the restaurant, but we believe this feedback would help him. You can see it is his fulfilled dream to own such a restaurant, but he doesn’t know how to properly run it. Please consider working more on preps in kitchen to speed up the cooking process. 🙏🏼 Try to work on better reservation system, allowing people to choose how long they want to stay. 🙌🏻 We would like to stay 1-1.5 hour, which is not possible with the current workflow. Our experience was unfortunately not very good. We did not understand the positive reviews, but then we heard that they recently got new owners. The people were very nice, but totally not organized. Also the food was not that good, compared to the many Italian restaurants we have eaten. We had to wait for almost 1 hour between the 1er and 2nd dish. The person who served us asked if we wanted dessert, and then realized we never got our second dish… it looked like there was only 1 person in the kitchen, which was clearly not enough. There was a group of 16p next to us (we were 4), and it was clear that this was too much for them (although they had reserved, so you would expect a better organization). By coincidence our neighbors had dinner here as well, they arrived 30 min after us and left almost 1 h before us! Also food was not amazing, confirmed by our neighbors. We had chicken and mixed grill, both very dry, and side dishes very basic. Seating is 7 eur pp, which compared to other restaurants is very high. We recommend them to focus on a better organization and better quality of food. The location...

The best experience in La Toscana so far. Exactly what I was looking for. After some bad experiences in different restaurants in la Toscana and around, finally the perfect combination of service, Andrea and his two daughters ( Emma and the other one I didn't get the name)are amazing, service, qualityand price. The food is representative of la Toscana, the grilled meat and the seasonal lasagna was spectacular. The dinner area was the garden under the trees with the sunset in the horizon. The prices are cheap compared to some restaurants in some touristics villages where they charge you 18€ for small plate of pasta and is not even good. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who want to enjoy Toscana like...
