Bar Ristorante Pizzeria Il Ritrovo — Restaurant in Garteddi/Galtellì

We arrived at the location, but the air conditioning was set way too high, and because I suffer from sinusitis we couldn’t stay inside, so we decided to order take-away instead.

We ordered one mixed grill (which turned out to be just a small piece of pork and three tiny sausages) with potatoes and salad, and one portion of seafood pasta. Honestly, it felt like when the chef heard it was for takeaway, he simply gave me the meat to cook at home myself and left me to clean the mussels as well.

Service was very good. Lots of locals, the locals did look at us weirdly when coming in.. but the kind waiter didn’t treat us any different. He was super friendly even though we didn’t really understand each other -we came a long way with google translate! We loved every dish! Tiramisu was a good finish of the diner! We tried going back the next day for lunch, but Google doesn’t have the right times. Apparently the restaurant opens from 12:30, but the bar next to it, is open and serves pastries/coffee or...

Four of us had lunch at Il Ritrovo, Galtelli, Sardinia last month (May 2023). Each of us just loved their dish! We loved it so much that we returned the same day there for dinner.
