We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at Il Boccaccio of Caldana, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. As long-time customers of this restaurant, we were once again delighted of the exceptional quality that has made Il Boccaccio our favorite dining destination.

From the moment we walked through the door, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. The level of politeness and attentive service was truly remarkable. They ensured that every detail of the evening was taken care of, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the celebration.

Now, let's talk about the food—it was a culinary delight! We indulged in a variety of dishes that left our taste buds dancing with joy. The spaghetti croccante was a revelation with its perfect blend of flavors and the satisfying crunch. The tagliata meat was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent, leaving us wanting more. Everything was accompanied by an excellent Morellino di Scansano from Terenzi winery. And the cheesecake... oh, the cheesecake! It was an absolute masterpiece, with its creamy texture and delectable taste.

One standout feature of Il Boccaccio is their own organic olive oil, which added an extra layer of richness and depth to every dish. The attention to detail in sourcing quality ingredients truly shines through. Additionally, we couldn't resist trying their exquisite Gin angel, made with Maremma only botanicals. It was a delightful surprise that elevated our celebration and added a touch of sophistication.

What made this birthday party truly exceptional was the warm welcome extended to our golden retriever. Il Boccaccio's pet-friendly policy made it possible for us to include our furry family member in the celebration. The genuine care and thoughtfulness shown towards our pet made the evening even more memorable.

We got to Boccaccio for recommendations of our hosts. We were staying at Veturlonia and drove all the way to Saldana just for Boccaccio and it was absolutely worth it. The food is great, and the veggie options are awesome. The wine is excellent and comes directly form the source. Absolute great place! Food is Amazing, Staff is super friendly and service is almost perfect. Traditional and very tasty dishes made with local products. Not many tables available (about 10) but quantity is not the priority when quality is so high. Dog friendly (if doggo can behave in a restaurant).
