Girban-a Pizzeria Ristorante — Restaurant in Genoa

Our family of 4 ate at Girban- a di bruzzone last night. It was delicious. The pizza and tomato sauce was the best I have ever tasted. An amazing choice of toppings. (The menu was Italian but my son used his iPhone to translate it into English) We had two Romana pizzas (anchovies, olives and capers) and two Golosa pizzas (not sure of the toppings- looked like local meats and ham) Everyone enjoyed their pizzas. All pizzas were under 10 euros which we thought was amazing value for money. The desserts were divine. (panna cotta and ?sorbet- not sure what it was but it was a lemon drink dessert- the taste of all the desserts were incredible. ( every dessert we had were 5 euros each) They added an 8 euros coperto charge on the bill but I have googled this and it appears to be a cover charge that all restaurants in Italy charge for the table cloth etc etc All in all- an amazing pizza and dessert experience which our whole...

Asked the waiter for a plus topping, in english, she acted like she understood, got my pizza with the plus topping but minus the basil which is specified to be on the pizza. Plus, the service is incredibly slow. If you want to come here be prepared for zero english knowledge. Total...

Franchement avec mon fils c est de loin la meilleure pizzeria dans laquelle nous avons mangé❤️...je n ai pas retrouvé dans le reste de notre périple en Italie l équivalent de leur pâte à pizza croustillante à souhait fine et leur sauce tomates ....la Bufalina notre préférée car même si peu de produits dessus la qualité fait que nous nous regalions avec une pizza classique ! Bravo à eux mais du coup la barre est trop haute et nous ne nous régalerons jamais autant ailleurs !...
