Novecento — Restaurant in Giarre

We visited this restaurant twice during a recent trip to Sicily and loved the food, atmosphere & hospitality. We were made aware of the restaurant by the staff of the Etna Hotel where we staying and enticed by the 20% discount and free lift to/from the restaurant. The free lifts were particularly attractive as they enabled me to have a drink without worrying about driving the family back to the hotel.

The pizzas were exquisite and authentic, the drinks ice cold and the external eating area was a courtyard illuminated by soft lights giving a very warm and atmospheric ambiance.

I have been here multiple times and the quality of food and service drastically differ depending on the crowd. If you get there on a busy day, be ready to wait longer than one hour for a decent pizza. On a non busy day, you can get a very good pizza in less than 20 minutes.

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare al Ristorante Novecento di Giarre e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero eccellente. La qualità del cibo è altissima: ogni piatto è curato nei minimi dettagli, con ingredienti freschi e ben abbinati che esaltano i sapori della tradizione senza rinunciare a un tocco di creatività.
