When we arrived the cafe wasn't full. The café is clearly laid out and there is enough space for customers. However, what to complain about is that the granita wasn't really good. È la seconda pasticceria più importante di Macchia di Giarre, ha un'antica tradizione e la crema è una specialità. Produce tutti i dolci tipici della zona, è sempre piena di gente e se ritardi un po' devi fare la coda. I dolci sono buonissimi. Le granite e le brioche vanno a rube, ottime le paste di mandorla. L'interno è un po' piccolo, ma il cortiletto all'esterno, che è ben coperto è sufficiente per godersi in pace uno dei gustosi prodotti del signor Grasso. Il personale è molto gentile ed è capace anche in presenza di tanta confusione. La vasta piazza antistante al locale, consente di trovare facilmente parcheggio. Dopo aver gustato le ottime produzioni della pasticceria Grasso, si può fare una bella passeggiata nell'ampio parco di Macchia, ricco di vegetazione e con un bellissimo anfiteatro. In estate, gustare la granita crema caffè di questa pasticceria ti da un risveglio energizzante che dura per tutta la giornata. L'unico difetto di questa ottima pasticceria è che, davanti a queste specialità, è improbabile mantenersi in linea, anche perché qui sicuramente incontrerai quasi tutti gli amici che amano gustare gli esclusivi sapori che da questa pasticceria vengono sfornati.
