OSTERIA FLORIANA — Restaurant in Gibellina

Absolutely loved this restaurant and it’s aesthetic, it was perfect for a beautiful dinner with family. The service was wonderful as the whole staff was very welcoming. I ordered the degustazione di terra as an antipasto, all the things included were absolutely delicious and it was the perfect serving size, my favourite was definitely the caponata. For my main I had the ravioloni cacio e pepe, was a great dish, my only problem with it was that it was the amount of salt, the filling of ricotta, the cream with the pecorino and the addition of the guanciale made the dish almost too salty to finish… as desert I tried their pistachio parfait and small cannoli… as a dessert lover both were phenomenal. Our group of 4 cyclist stayed and ate at the Osteria Floriana on our way pedalling across the island. Firstly the accommodation was first class, very smart comfortable and modern. Stylish rooms with plenty of space and superb facilities. The owners could not do enough to make us welcome and were very relaxed and flexible when we turned up hot, dusty and riding fully loaded gravel bikes. Cold beers in hand moments in arrival, table set and menus open an hour after that. The food and drink was all local with a theme of : from the sea, and from the land. Delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend staying here....

La location è molto rilassante ed elegante, l'aria condizionata raffredda bene l'ambiente e la musica non è affatto invasiva. Veramente un posto rilassante dove mangiare. Nonostante sia piccolo i camerieri e il personale sembra molto rilassato e non so percepisce tensione o frettolosità. Infatti o piatti sono preparati e serviti con cura.

Antipasto a base di carne: Ho veramente molto apprezzato l'assortimento di polpette, soprattutto quella di pulled pork. La cipolla era molto presente, personalmente non ne vado matto ma è stata apprezzata, gli accostamenti e il modo in cui è stata preparata era veramente gradevole. Anche le panelle molto apprezzate!

Primo, busiate con ragù di maialino: La presentazione apprezzabile come tutte le altre, non avrei messo la mollica direttamente nella presentazione, avrei lasciato a discrezione del cliente scegliere se metterla o meno. L'accostamento è comunque gradevole. Avrei preferito un condimento più omogeneo, la carne della pasta si trovava tutta in cima come topping, pensavo che poi avrei trovato vari pezzettini più piccoli all'interno ma così non è stato. In ogni caso nel complesso una buona pasta.

Il servizio è veramente attento le dimensioni del luogo permette al personale di dedicarsi con cura dei clienti, questo è Molto apprezzato.

Nel complesso un bel posto dove si mangia bene e si sta tranquilli senza schiamazzi come in locali più grandi. Credo di non avere ancora provato il meglio del loro menù,...
