If you come to Lago Patria, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you miss coming to La Gardenia and ordering their Jamaican Chicken.

This is hands down the best Rotisserie Chicken I have ever eaten. And the potatoes roasted in the chicken juice and spices just add to a plate that you'll be hard pressed not to lick clean when you're done.

The only thing that may detract from your visit is the wait to be waited on. We sat at our table for almost 15 minutes before someone came to take our order. But even then, the wait was worth it.

So do yourself a favor and make at least one evening of your trip a Jamaican...

Excellent food and service!

I stopped in here this evening for a quick dinner, by myself. The owner, sitting at the next table preparing fava beans with two of his five children, made me feel VERY welcome.

I tried the Jamaican chicken and it is spicy!! Deliciously so! (Way spicer than most everything else served here in Italy!) I loved it.

I also had some roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables. All made almost before my eyes!

The portions are large and the food delicious!

The owners were very nice, but the wings I ordered weren't good. First, off they some of the pieces they gave me weren't even wings, they were nubs with no meat on them. Second, with having their sign saying 'Original Jamaica Chicken', the chicken had no flavor. This was especially very disappointing being carribean and biting into something that tasted nothing like...
