The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to explain the dishes and even recommend options based on your preferences. The only downside is that the pasta dishes may have been cooked a while earlier, so they’re not always perfectly al dente. If you’re as particular as I am about pasta texture, you might want to ask the staff to wait for a fresh batch and get your dish as soon as it comes out of the kitchen. We spent a week close to Guagnano in an old Masseria and couldn’t resist to eat here every day! This place embodies everything Puglia is famous for: beauty and quality, the best food, incredibly friendly hospitality. We felt so welcome! The owners gave us great advice of where are the best beaches and where to eat in Lecce.
