Very nice find in Iglesias! We were coming back from Cala Domestica and stopped here for dinner on our way back to Cagliari.

They have a nice selection of wines and tagliere. We ordered one mixed and one called “mare”, the first time I’ve seen these types of appetizers all seafood. A bit too much seafood for me but my boyfriend loved it. For anyone who loves seafood it is a good option to try! The owner was very nice and we were lucky to find a table upon arrival. Didn't eat here, just came to buy some wine. I have to say that it is hard to find such a variety of non Sardinian wines and spirits around there, so I was quite impressed finding fine bottles, the ones that are not on supermarket shelves too, both from the area and around Italy and France. Few but good at affordable price. All’interno, le luci sono eccessivamente forti: basterebbe abbassarle o optare per candele per creare un’atmosfera più accogliente. Ci siamo quindi spostati all’esterno, ma anche lì l’accoglienza è stata piuttosto carente: il proprietario non ha presentato né il concept del locale né la carta di cibo e vini, lasciandoci intuire il tema del km 0 solo leggendo dal QR code.

I prezzi sono alti, soprattutto se rapportati a un servizio pressoché assente. Si paga come in un’enoteca gastronomica, ma senza ricevere le attenzioni che giustificherebbero tale posizionamento. Inoltre, i tempi di attesa sono risultati lunghi, anche per piatti semplici come un tagliere.

Il locale potrebbe davvero distinguersi, ma serve più cura: accogliere e salutare i clienti, spiegare subito l’idea che lo rende diverso da una semplice enoteca, illustrare con orgoglio la filosofia del km 0 e la qualità delle proposte. Anche la gestione delle luci è importante: un’illuminazione più soffusa la sera farebbe la differenza, evitando l’effetto “tavola calda”.
