Ristorante Pizzeria LA TROTA — Restaurant in Introdacqua

My dear uncles who live in Sulmona & Introdaqua first took me here many, many years ago. It’s NOT a tourist place AT ALL. I’ve been here many times since then, and even brought a group of colleagues there once (my gracious uncles paid for dinner). It’s not far from Sulmona, but it’s in the middle of nowhere…and SO worth the trip! Very reasonable prices, too!...

Food was ok (not good just ok) but service was non existent. We made a reservation at 7, when we got there there was only one other table. We waited until 7:30 to get our water and 8:30 for our meal to come out. We ordered two primis and a pizza. Ended up leaving the place after 9 pm. If you’re hungry don’t go to this place. Amazing Neopolitan Pizza. Salad is fresh and wine is flowing. Nice family run pizzeria. A wide varity of pizza and make your own. They also serve a large MAXI pizza to share. Fresh pasta, fish and meat as well. At the end of your meal they offer complimentary fried dough balls, divine. It's consistency good food...
