Hotel Ristorante La Decanata — Restaurant in Isola di Capo Rizzuto

We arrived at this hotel ( 2 minutes by car from the seaside) purely by chance and without having read the comments on Trip Advisor, simply because all the camping grounds in this area were closed (end of season). For Euro 50 (includingbreakfast) for the two of us, we spent a very good night in a large, very clean and very quiet bedroom with TV, free Wi-Fi and view of the countryside. As the night was rainy and cold we decided to have dinner in the restaurant of this hotel and asked the wife of the owner to prepare a minestrone for us as this was not on the menu and we then shared a plate of pesce misto. As it turned out, we got talking about Australia where this owner's father had worked as a prisoner of war. He offered us 2 large slices of his wife's home made chocolate cake and his special to-die-for "vino cotto"! The lot for 30 Euros for both of us. Telefono per prenotare e trovo una signora che,quasi come fosse un ricatto, mi dice che devo muovermi a dirle se prendo la stanza o no perché vanno a ruba. Ci penso la richiamo e prenoto. Arrivo in struttura e non trovo nessuno alla reception.aspetto e non arriva nessuno.non vi è campanello.Vado nella stanza a fianco che è la sala ristorante e fermo una cameriera per chiedere se ci sia qualcuno in grado di farmi il check-in e mi dice in modo sbrigativo di posare i documenti vicino la scrivania e mi dà le chiavi.Saliamo in stanza e trovo nel bagno le seguenti cose: bicchiere degli spazzolini e porta saponetta sporchi di polvere.Perfino il lampadario nel bagno è sporco di polvere e in tempi di covid dovrebbe esserci stata l'igienizzazione. Le tapparelle sono con 1 dito di polvere.frigo bar vuoto. Ci mettiamo sul letto per riposarci 5 minuti e mi rendo conto dopo un po' che il letto matrimoniale è composto da 2 materassi singoli tra l'altro abbastanza consumati(ci sprofondavo dentro e pesiamo meno di 70 kg sia io che la mia compagna). Il giorno dopo a colazione troviamo un signore molto cordiale che ci fa accomodare e ci serve degli ottimi cornetti e caffè e cappuccino. Il resto ce lo siamo serviti al buffet comunque discretamente fornito. Al pagamento trovo quella signora e le faccio presente che non mi sono trovato bene e lei si giustifica e dice che le dispiace,che la ragazza delle pulizie è nuova, che non può controllarla e che le tapparelle sono sempre piene di polvere per la vicinanza al mare. Sui materassi dice che è così per tutte le stanze cioè non possiedono un materasso matrimoniale. Quando ho sentito questo ho avuto conferma di aver pagato anche troppo(68 €) per una struttura che da un'esperienza così scarsa. Pago,la...
