Big Ben Pub — Restaurant in Jesolo

We ate at Big Ben while visiting Jesolo. I was not impressed. The staff are very rude. We were very thirsty after being at the beach all day. We asked if we could order drinks while we looked at the menu. We were told we had to order everything at once. What?! I've never experienced this in my life that you cannot order drinks and then order food when you're ready! My MIL wanted to change from grilled to fried vegetables with her meal and the server just rudely said, "No." I ordered 2 scallops as an appetizer and a ceasar salad for dinner. I specified I wanted the scallops first. I got my salad first and then later came the scallops. The food is unimpressive. Salads do not come with any seasoning or anything. The "famous" Caesar salad is nothing special.

On a different night, my husband and I came just for a drink. We were brought inside and to a table. Nobody ever came to ask what we wanted. They were not busy. We were just ignored. My husband finally had to go to the bartender and order for us. Then we waited for a long time to get the drinks. I don't recommend this...

Food was pretty good but service was unfortunately non-existing. A group of 8 ordered at the same time. Drinks took 15 minutes (on a very warm day), first two got their burgers after 40 minutes, my tuna (well cooked) and three pasta came after another 15, and after yet another 15 minutes came the meat dishes. This was while the place was half full. The waiter never came over more than first order so when my beer was empty, I had to drink water.
