Giada — Restaurant in Jesolo

Today we experienced an unpleasant situation at Giada Ristorante. We were waiting for more than 10 minutes to get seats.

We waited in front of the ristorante clearly visable to the waiters. Another couple was also waiting. A third couple then just skipped the line and sat down at a table that was just happening to be free.

No communication from the waiters or the owner of the restaurant.

We made very good experiences in Jesolo with the restaurants we visited prior to this one.

But unfortunately we can’t recommend this place. Also quite bitter because it is our last Night in Jesolo.

Food we can’t rate due to the situation. Ambiente is fine.

Edit: It didn’t seem like the couple had made a reservation because they sat down at the table which was not even prepared again and also the couple didn’t communicate with the waiter. The waiter even looked stressed about it. Maybe this explains the review better. Reservations are another topic. In this case it seemed like the waiting line was not from importance and this upset us. In other restaurants in jesolo we also had to wait sometimes but after waiting a certain time tables were granted in fair order. Of course my impression can also be wrong but this is what we observed. The second couple waiting with us left after this took place, too (we didn’t know them)

To a certain point this is also the fault of the guests. But in the end the waiter and restaurant decides who gets a table. To be fair at this evening the restaurant was very busy and probably the situation happened really fast. But we were disappointed that no reaction took place concerning the guests behaviour....

We had such a wonderful experience here! The staff were unbelievably kind and welcoming, not only did they let us stay about 30 minutes past closing, but they even encouraged us not to rush and to enjoy our meal. That level of hospitality made our lunch feel so much more special. The food was incredible: generous portions, very fresh, and at a great price. The grilled vegetables were the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant — perfectly cooked, not oily at all. The fish was fresh and tasty, the fries were lovely, and the carbonara was outstanding. On top of all that, the service was fantastic from start to finish. Truly the best restaurant we’ve visited so far, great way to end...

Amazing place, staff is very very friendly even offered me some lessons in Italian when I asked for certain phrases. Always checking in on us making sure everything is great. It's so fantastic we are going back there again tonight... we have dined here over 5 times now, the staff just keeps getting friendlier, lots of interactions with customers. The baby's get a lot of attention and get played around with. You can also see how your pizza is made depending where you are seated. Any food you can't finish you have the option to take away. We couldn't recommend this...
