Ristorante Pizzeria Happy Days — Restaurant in Jesolo

I had the worst dining experience at this so-called Italian restaurant. The waiters were rude children who lacked any professionalism. We ordered two bottles of wine for four people, and they brought both at once.

The food was absolutely disgusting. The fish was raw and inedible, and the shrimp and calamari on the platter were burnt, tasting horribly of grill soot. When we tried to address these issues with the waiter, he responded with an impertinent and disrespectful attitude, saying, “if even my mother can’t cook anymore.” Moreover, when I mentioned that the fish was raw, he took the entire plate away and didn’t bring a new one; instead, he returned after 5 minutes with the same dishes, having re-cooked the fish.

Additionally, the side vegetables on the menu were supposed to be grilled, but instead, they served us tempura-fried vegetables, which have nothing to do with Mediterranean cuisine.

As if that wasn’t enough, the owner came over and started arguing with us, insisting they’ve been doing this for 37 years, refusing any feedback and displaying a total lack of professionalism. In the end, the owner offered a meager 10 euro discount.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. The service is appalling, the food is inedible, and the staff’s attitude is absolutely disgusting. Avoid this restaurant...

If you’re in the area, dining at this family-run restaurant is an absolute must! From the moment I walked in, I could feel the heart and soul poured into this place – the atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and filled with the charm that only a lovingly managed local gem can offer.

I decided to trust the chef and go with his recommendation, and I couldn’t have been happier with that choice. Every course was a delight – beautifully presented, full of fresh flavors, and crafted with passion. From the delicate seafood starters to the rich and perfectly cooked pasta, and the amazing fried delicacies – everything was first class.

The service was just as outstanding. The staff made me feel like part of the family, attentive without being intrusive, always with a smile and a genuine care for making the evening special.

It‘s definitely an experience, one that stays with you! It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back, not just for the food, but for the people and the feeling. Highly recommended – a true highlight...

18:00 Uhr. Wir waren dir ersten Gäste im Lokal. Zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind. Wir bestellten Getränke eine Vorspeise und drei Hauptgerichte. Schnitzel, Salat und Pizza.

Getränke kamen zügig. Vorspeise um 18:20.

Circa 5-7 Minuten später erhielten meine Frau und mein Sohn ihr Hauptgerichte. 18:40 ....meine Pizza war immer noch nicht da.

Zusatz: Alle anderen Personen, die nach uns kamen aßen bereits fleißig Pizza.

Daraufhin habe ich die Bedienung zum erstenmal mal auf meine fehlende Pizza aufmerksam gemacht. Große Reaktion kam von ihr nicht.

18:50 Uhr erneut habe ich eine andere Bedienung auf meine fehlende Pizza aufmerksam gemacht. Wieder keine Reaktion. Mein Frau und mein Sohn hatten bereits aufgegessen und ausgetrunken.

19:10 Uhr. Uns wurde das allmählich zu lange und verlangte die Rechnung. 2 Minuten später kam die Pizza.

Ich habe das Personal aufmerksam gemacht, dass ich die Pizza nicht mehr möchte.

Daraufhin kam der Chef und gab an, dass ich die Pizza bezahlen muss und bot mir an, diese mitzunehmen. Er verwies uns darauf, dass wir Urlaub haben und Zeit haben.

Das Essen an sich war gut und das Lokal eigentlich schön.

Ich bin aber maßlos enttäuscht die Pizza bezahlen zu müssen. Service und Charakter schaut anders aus.

Update 2024: Wir waren in unserem Urlaub zweimal beim Essen im Happy Days.
