La Penisola 41.9 is perfection from start to finish…warm hospitality, a stunning setting, and truly exceptional food.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Our server, Mauro, was attentive and knowledgeable, walking us through the menu and making us feel very welcome. The dishes by Chef Gianluca were thoughtful, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We tried the ruote pazze and surf & turf that were both incredible.
Meeting Gianluca in person made the experience even more special. His passion for his craft is obvious in every bite, and it’s rare to find this level of care in both service and cuisine….especially since this restaurant is on a smaller island off an island…the logistics of running this place is impressive.

Read moreA couple of weeks ago we celebrated a friend's birthday at La Peninsula 41.9 and wow, what an incredible experience! This place is seriously stunning - it's built right into these massive granite rocks with the most amazing views of bright blue water, little beaches, and all the natural coastline. The whole setting feels like a hidden paradise. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We had the freshest seafood, including this incredible local fish tartare that was just perfect. But honestly, the pasta with clams and bottarga was hands down the best I've ever had - seriously amazing! Everything was so fresh and perfectly prepared. The staff were super welcoming and professional, and they paired everything perfectly with this crisp Sardinian Vermentino that went beautifully with all the seafood. If you're looking for somewhere special to celebrate or just want an unforgettable meal with incredible views, this is the place. Highly...

We drove out of our way to visit this well-rated restaurant on our last evening, specifically choosing it because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were turned away very rudely by a man at the entrance who told us we were not allowed to drive down with our VW California because we were not staying at the camping site.
When I explained that we just wanted to eat at the restaurant La Penisola, he simply said there were “enough other restaurants on the island.”
We felt absolutely unwelcome and were shocked by this attitude. Not the kind of hospitality we expected – especially not in such a tourist-friendly region. 0...
