The food is great and the price is fair. The service was friendly but very stressed. We came spontaneously and were a little lost because the Restaurant was nearly full. The waiters ignored us completely and ran around as for several minutes. People who had no reservation too and arrived after us got a table after they stopped a waiter. The food here is incredible. We ordered spaghetti with mussels and the rabbit with roast potatoes. Both dishes were impeccable, so delicious, and perfectly cooked with love and skill. Locale storico della vecchia Spezia, appena al di fuori del tracciato della cinta muraria ottocentesca della città. Sorge in un'antica dipendenza di villa Carrani Massa, sita sulla prospiciente collina di Gaggiola. Location amena, soprattutto d'estate, per la possibilità di mangiare all'aperto sfruttando le caratteristiche panche poste sotto un bel pergolato fresco. Anche l'interno, recentemente ristrutturato, rispetta lo stile e lo spirito di una tipica osteria ligure in cui, un tempo, ci si fermava per mangiare fave, formaggio e salame e bere un bicchiere di vino. Il menu oggi è adeguato ai tempi e, accanto alla pizza e alla farinata, la cucina offre un'ampia offerta di piatti tipici della tradizione spezzina, dai muscoli allo stoccafisso, dalla mesciua (zuppa di legumi e cereali condita con olio e pepe) al baccalà, dai ravioli con il ragù al coniglio.
