Caffé Italia — Restaurant in Laigueglia

Just had dinner at Caffe Italia, and have to say we were very disappointed. My first pasta choice wasn't available- ok, understandable. Ordered lasagna, which came warm on top and cold on the bottom. Waiter put blame on kitchen, washing hands of it. My wife ordered a salad, which came missing half of the ingredients. Once again waiter said that the kitchen didn't get it right. My two friends and I were here on Saturday, June 15, 2024, and had a terrible experience. All three of us ended up with food poisoning after eating different salads. Our order wasn't correct either; we ordered cola and water, but the water never came, so we had to get it ourselves. Additionally, we ordered coffee, which we never received. Two days later, we are still sick with diarrhea and vomiting....

Il caffè Italia si trova nel centro del borgo di Laigueglia e dispone di un dehors che dà su una piccola piazza. Mi sono recata in questo locale per un pranzo veloce. Nonostante il caldo non dia tregua, la posizione è strategica in quanto la brezza marina raggiunge facilmente il bar. Inoltre il locale è fornito di un sistema di rinfrescamento ad acqua, con periodici e rinfrescanti getti nebulizzanti. Ho ordinato un’insalatona che ho trovato gradevole, con una bottiglietta d’acqua ed un caffè; trovo che i prezzi siano assolutamente nella norma per gli standard liguri, in quanto ho speso 11 €.
