Honestly, service for English people is trash even with doing our best between broken italian and translation apps to show what we mean.

They were quick to seat us which is were the 1 star came from and take drink requests. From there, it just went downhill.

45 minutes for first drinks, every other table served drinks and first courses before us, then cancel our drinks. ( coke zero and a negroni, was offered a vodka alternative, accepted then not until we asked where our drinks were did they tell us they couldn't make that either, even though it's their suggestion). Wife wound up with regular coke because they had no coke zero(which is diet coke out here) and I wound up just drinking water because I'm not a wine person and apparently the bar couldn't mix a cocktail drink.

Then when our dishes came, they brought everything at once. Not in a nice 3 course setting. We were the only table who's plates were brought out in this manner

My boyfriend and I went to L’Aragosta for dinner one evening. We started with two appetizers: octopus salad for him and marinated shrimp for me. Then we shared a plate of spaghetti with lobster (the lobster weighed a whole kilo!), paired with a glass of chilled white wine. We liked it enough to go back for another dinner. That time, I had seafood spaghetti and he ordered pasta with sardines. We also shared a mixed fried seafood platter, which was tasty but a bit too oily. By the way, portions are generous and satisfying — you definitely won’t leave hungry. Service can be hit or miss when the restaurant is full—it tends to get a bit chaotic and less attentive. However, the food is fresh and high quality. Some dishes may not be available depending on the daily catch, which is understandable. A small detail we found charming: a few stray cats wander quietly between the tables. They don’t bother guests at all—if anything, they add to the seaside atmosphere. Sono stato recentemente in questo ristorante e non posso che lasciare una recensione entusiasta. Fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e professionalità da tutto lo staff, sempre attento e sorridente senza mai risultare invadente.

Il menù propone piatti che uniscono tradizione e creatività, preparati con materie prime di altissima qualità. Ogni portata è stata una scoperta di sapori: dagli antipasti curati nei minimi dettagli, ai primi piatti saporiti e perfettamente bilanciati, fino ai secondi cotti a regola d’arte. Una menzione speciale va anche ai dolci, semplicemente deliziosi.

Ottima anche la selezione di vini, consigliata con competenza dal personale di sala. L’atmosfera del locale è calda, elegante ma non pretenziosa, il che rende l’esperienza ancora più piacevole.

In sintesi: qualità eccellente, servizio impeccabile e un rapporto qualità-prezzo assolutamente onesto. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglio a chiunque voglia concedersi una serata speciale all’insegna...
