We were a big group and the service and hospitality was very warm but a bit slow - probably to be expected, but we were in no hurry. The children in the group loved having a playground around the corner. I recommend parking in the lot next to that, and setting google maps directions for that parking lot rather than the restaurant itself. We shared antipasti with many wonderful bites - I especially recommend the fried bread with cream cheese filling and prosciutto wrap. The lamb chops were delicious and veal bites with bacon and mushrooms very flavourful although I was not expecting it to be in a sauce - a bit like a goulash. The tiramisu was excellent.

The hardest part about this meal was NOT getting one of everything on the menu. Everything we watched come out of the kitchen looked amazing and smelled even better. We had the florentine steak, a truffle pasta to die for and my personal favorite a beef tartar with a spicy mango accompaniment that was utterly incredible. Prices are very reasonable for food of this caliber. If you're in the area YOU MUST make this your stop. I would even say make this a stop even if you're just passing through.

Amazing traditional pretty restaurant in the village square of a small Tuscan village. They accommodated us for a late dinner (9.30pm) as we only just arrived to our B&B nearby. The menu was quite large with varied options, and prices were very reasonable. We ordered a delicious, out of this world truffle & porcini mushroom pasta! It was soo good but portion size a bit small. The truffle pizza was also very delicious, base nice and thin and crispy! The lamb ragout pasta was also good. House wine was nice and good value and they offer carafes. The waitress even offered to keep our food warm when one of us had to put a child to bed. We went again another night and ordered an amazing meat platter which was perfectly cooked and juicy. The service was again very good. Overall, this is the best tasting restaurant in the village out of the 2 restaurants there (we felt the other restaurant has a nicer panorama view from the terrace but the food is...

Siamo andati ieri in un gruppo di 23 amici circa e ci hanno divisi giustamente in due tavoli. Siamo partiti dagli antipasti/primi e abbiamo ordinato un po di tutto e siamo rimasti soddisfatti, se non fosse che le bevande sono arrivate mezzora dopo dovendo noi ricordarlo ai camerieri. Passiamo alla nota dolente, come se già non ci fosse stata. Nell'ordinare i secondi la cameriera ci ha chiesto cordialmente la cottura delle nostre due fiorentine e tre tagliate, le abbiamo chieste tutte al sangue. Sono arrivate tre suole di scarpe, con le quali mi sono dilettato a fare delle foto poiché erano immangiabili. Ah dimenticavo, i contorni sono arrivati mezzora prima, e quindi sono ovviamente stati consumati ancora caldi e da soli. Tutto questo in Toscana, patria della fiorentina/tagliata. Siccome siamo delle persone beneducate e non volevamo disturbare ne abbiamo mandata indietro solo una utilizzando la restante ora di cena per masticare le altre. Per quanto riguarda il servizio due ragazzi giovani e cordiale, no comment rispetto alla terza cameriera che ha preso le comande facendo un disastro e non solo rispondendo in maniera MOLTO MALEDUCATA ma andando negli altri tavoli a fare commenti spiacevoli su di noi, cosa poco intelligente visto il conto importante dei nostri tavoli. Riguardo il conto, apriamo un'ultimo tragico capitolo: nel 2020 non esiste che mi venga comunicato a voce l'ammontare totale. Dopo aver richiesto lo scontrino, ci é stato portato un menu, in un siparietto quasi comico, che abbiamo rimandato indietro e in seguito uno scontrino senza prezzi, prima volta nella mia vita. Sto ancora digerendo la carne. Vista la risposta ad un'altra recensione di un amico, aggiungo che la ricerca della materia prima di qualità c'è, ma viene totalmente distrutta dal modo in cui la carne viene maltrattata, a questo punto compratela al discount che il risultato é lo stesso. Se ci sono stati apprezzamenti di altri clienti, evidentemente non sanno cosa sia la cottura al sangue, la migliore per questo...
