This place is a must if you are anywhere close to this area. Angelo (the owner) and his family operate an amazing experience from the service, the food, the ambiance, and hospitality. We were lost in finding our Airbnb in the village and Angelo and his team went out of the way to help us not only find it, but get us the key when we thought we would have to stay in a hotel for the night.

We had already decided to have dinner there since we were traveling with a toddler and it was dark out. It was the best food and experience of our entire trip in Italy. We ordered Florentine Steak, Tenderloin, and Pizza and it was amazing. Not only did we find the best food there, we found some new friends in Angelo and his team and family. Ho messo due stelle perché la qualità del cibo è pure buona ma su tutto il resto mi dispiace ma non ci siamo trovati bene. Partiamo dall'antipasto che abbiamo preso la tartare con cipollone e nduja. La presentazione carina con una cipolla intera a fare da recipiente alla tartare, tartare fredda da frigo mischiata alla nduja che boh non aveva gran sapore né di nduja né di carne, cipolla davvero eccessiva. Il primo abbiamo preso tagliolini all'aglione con tartare acciugata, allora la tartare sopra era buona e ben saporita , si sentiva bene l'acciuga , ciò che era proprio assente era l'aglione, sembrava un tagliolino con pomodorini freschi e tartare che per carità buona ma non era appunto un tagliolino all'aglione. Dolce un tortino al pistacchio con frutto della passione e mousse alla fragola, il tortino con il cuore caldo davvero buono, il pistacchio non si sentiva ma era buono , il frutto della passione lo pensavo più presente invece era solo un topping sparso sul piatto e la mousse congelata buona ma sembrava più un gelato . Ora arriviamo a ciò che ha abbassato di tanto il punteggio, il servizio, dire lento è dire poco, ci siamo seduti alle 13 e ci siano alzati alle 14.40 a prenderci il caffè al banco altrimenti saremmo rimasti lì ad aspettare altri 20 Min. È un posto frequentato molto dai lavoratori di zona che prendono piatti fuori dal menù, più semplici e forse più gustosi, i lavoratori venivano serviti velocemente mentre noi stavamo lì ad aspettare un piatto di pasta per 25 min. Bad overpriced food with a nice view. But we did not even get the view: we came without booking and did not get a table on the terrace, though there were non reserved tables there. The food was really not up to its price: I ordered gnocchetti with shrimps and calmar, which had zero shrimps (I attach a photo). We also ordered gnocchi with bacon, they were hardly edible - bacon was over fried. Wine was acid, just like the face of our waitress.
