L'Altra Idea — Restaurant in Lazise

Traurig, aber leider wahr – nach elf Jahren war es unser letzter Besuch im Altra in Lazise.

Wir sind über ein Jahrzehnt lang regelmäßig dort essen gegangen und haben uns immer auf die leckeren Spaghetti mit Meeresfrüchten gefreut – große Portionen, toller Geschmack und ein fairer Preis.

Doch diesmal war alles anders: Die Preise sind spürbar gestiegen, während die Portionen nur noch ein Drittel der früheren Größe hatten. Auch die liebevolle Präsentation auf dem Teller, die das Essen früher ausgemacht hat, war nicht mehr zu erkennen. Eine große Enttäuschung.

Auf unsere höfliche Nachfrage beim Chef kam lediglich die patzige Antwort: „Wenn du andere Nudeln willst, musst du woanders hingehen.“ Kein Entgegenkommen, keine Erklärung – schade.

Wie ich gehört habe, ist der Koch neu – vielleicht erklärt das den starken Qualitätsverlust. Für uns jedenfalls war es der letzte Besuch. Wer das Lokal kennt, wird sich selbst ein Bild machen – wir gehen künftig woanders essen.

Triste, ma purtroppo vero: dopo undici anni, quella è stata la nostra ultima visita all’Altra di Lazise.

Per oltre un decennio siamo andati regolarmente a mangiare lì e ci siamo sempre goduti i deliziosi spaghetti ai frutti di mare – porzioni abbondanti, ottimo sapore e un prezzo onesto.

Ma questa volta è stato tutto diverso: i prezzi sono aumentati sensibilmente, mentre le porzioni erano solo un terzo rispetto a prima. Anche la presentazione curata del piatto, che in passato rendeva il pasto speciale, non c’era più. Una grande delusione.

Alla nostra gentile richiesta di spiegazioni, il titolare ha risposto in modo seccato: “Se vuoi un altro tipo di pasta, devi andare da un’altra parte.” Nessuna disponibilità, nessuna spiegazione – un vero peccato.

Da quanto ho saputo, lo chef è cambiato – forse è questa la causa del netto calo di qualità. Per noi, comunque, è stata l’ultima volta. Chi conosce il locale potrà giudicare da sé – noi, d’ora in poi,...

I was there in August 2024, for dinner, with my family. Nice and cozy restaurant in Lazise, quite far from the downtown and the crowded places near the lake. The environment and furniture is sort of vintage, and perhaps would deserve a renewal, but the lovely view of the lake from the terrace will make you forget about everything: the atmosphere during sunset alone, makes the restaurant worth a visit. Very nice place to eat and a very nice view! We had dinner here on our last night in Lazise. We were just gonna get some takeout pizzas but when we got there we decided to stay and eat. They were very busy but I think they handled it all right. I tasted the Diavola and the Anto pizzas and they were really good. I would recommend others to go here for a bite. 2 adults + 2 kids had 4 pizzas and drinks...
