Where to start...

We are a complicated family from Australia. We eat early and we have plenty of allergies... The staff and manager / owner went beyond their call of duty to accomodate us... Here some examples:

At 6.30 we go there and ask what time they open... They say 7.45 to which I say it's a bit late and they explain the oven take a while to reach the temperature but they will try to do earlier for us. We go back there at 7.20 and they were welcoming and ready for us.

We explain that we have lactose allergies and the staff was so prepared to help us out and recommend great combination of ingredients that would work well without cheese.

The bring the 2 pizzas and 2 bruschette and they were all incredible.

Cherry on the cake I run out of mobile juice and they offered their mobile charger for me to top it up a little.

Finally, after eating some of the best pizza in weeks, they bring the check and it was so cheap!!!

This Pizza is hands down the best Pizza not only on the Island but I think in the 6 areas we visited in Sicily. We stayed in Hotel L'Ariana which was very convenient - but I would travel from a different island to taste it. We only had Pizza - nothing else. We live in NY / NJ and there are some amazing places at home, but honestly - not like...

Questo locale non è semplicemente una pizzeria, ma un vero e proprio tempio del gusto che celebra la tradizione e l'autenticità eoliana. Fin dal primo momento, l'accoglienza calorosa e genuina di Marco e del suo staff ti fa sentire come a casa. La pizza è la vera protagonista. L'impasto, leggero e digeribile, frutto di una lunga lievitazione, è la base perfetta per ingredienti di altissima qualità. Ogni morso è un viaggio nei sapori dell'isola: i capperi di Salina, le acciughe, il pomodoro fresco,il finocchietto e la mozzarella fior di latte si fondono in un'armonia di gusti che conquista il palato.Si percepisce l'amore e la passione che Marco mette nel suo lavoro. Per concludere, la Pizzeria da Marco è una tappa obbligata per chiunque visiti Salina.Un'esperienza culinaria che va oltre la semplice pizza e diventa un ricordo indelebile di una vacanza nelle Eolie.
