Twin Pub — Restaurant in Letojanni

We stayed in Letojanni and visited the Twin Pub for drinks on 2-3 nights. The atmosphere, people, and authentic Italian hospitality kept us coming back. The pub had this vibe that made us feel like we were in England or Ireland, but with an Italian twist, for sure.

The locals seem to come here and they were nice as well to chat to.

The staff were extremely hospitable, always providing snacks and being patient with our limited Italian. Despite our Australian accents making communication a bit tricky, they always smiled and seemed to appreciate our efforts in trying to use Italian.

This place is a must-visit if you ever find yourself in Letojanni. The two brothers who run it, along with their lovely staff, made our experience memorable. When we were searching for a cigarette store, the owner came out and generously offered us his own packet to smoke. In return, we left cigarettes to express our thanks when we finally found a tobacconist.

We were a group of nine friends from Canada who all gathered at a villa in Letojanni to celebrate a birthday. We decided to book the Twin Pub as a welcome night..and what a welcome we got! From the moment we walked in Justin, his brother, and their staff were so friendly, accommodating, and generous. The menu was not only surprising large for a pub (with lots of paninis and pastas) but was also delicious. As were, of course, the drinks. PESSIMO Servizio e Personale Nonostante la confusione riusciamo a sederci in breve tempo, ordiniamo da bere e mangiare. Le BIBITE in bottiglia, quali coca e chinotto vengono SERVITE al tavolo già STAPPATE, chissà dove e da quanto tempo. I PIATTI messi a disposizione per l'antipasto (patatine) erano UNTI e NON perfettamente PULITI, alcuni di noi decidono di non usufruirne per evitare discussioni. Dopo un' ATTESA di 1h circa, arrivano finalmente i panini. Il quale contenuto viene indicato piú volte dalla cameriera toccando i panini, non sul tovagliolo ma con il dito direttamente sul pane. Arriviamo al momento saliente. Uno dei PANINi aveva al suo interno UN PELO/CAPELLO bianco, informiamo prontamente uno dei camerieri forse il piú novellino ed inesperto. Il quale invece di scusarsi risponde " in cucina sono tutti senza capelli ", come per dire che fosse impossibile, quindi porta via il panino senza fornire un'alternativa. Siamo noi, dopo 10 min a fermare un 'altra cameriera, chiedendo dato lo spiacevole accaduto di portare un altro panino in sostituzione di quello incriminato. Naturalmente anche questa non si scusa. Ottenuto il nuovo panino, paghiamo e andiamo via, ovviamente per non tornare piú. Concludo dicendo: Sia una delle cameriere che il proprietario erano dotati di capelli/peli di barba bianchi. Tutti i camerieri entravano continuamente in cucina, non ci è dato sapere se effettivamente gli addetti alla cucina avessero capelli. Sono cose che possono capitare, anche se non dovrebbero, ma un personale bem rodato dovrebbe saper gestire...
