Osteria Poi ti Dico — Restaurant in Limone Piemonte

I love this place because you get true and authentic food from Recco (Liguria) in the beautiful location up in the alps in Limone. The fusion of typical Piedmontese dishes like polenta and the focaccia col formaggio typical of Recco is just phenomenal. The service was fast and the staff very friendly. Just added pics from our second time there in the summer. Wonderful! The staff is amazing and it's even better in the summer.

There's a beautiful view on the river and overall I don't think it was expensive- we had way more food than we could eat in one meal ( we took it home, don't worry! It didn't go to waste) and we spent about 100 euros with a wonderful Barbera wine included in the price. Def one I wanted to try for a long time and that didn't...

A wonderful new restaurant in the heart of Limone. The interior dining room is warm and cozy with walls and ceilings wood-cladded and elegant retro-chic lighting. Outside you can choose between a covered outdoor terrace or an open sky dining experience with little more than the sound of the nearby river to distract you. The food is varied and delicious, and every member of the family from the youngest to the pickiest finds something they like on the menu. The pizzas are amazing, their fondues are copious, and the best part of it all is the bill at the end that will be a pleasant surprise as their prices are very correct considering the quality of the food and service.

Allora vediamo di capirci o le recensioni sono farlocche oppure sembra di visitare un locale diverso. Riassumiamo: stati ieri giorno della Befana. Fuori nevicava. Atmosfera splendida. Si entra alle 12.10 locale mezzo vuoto (ma si capiva che c'erano molte prenotazioni). Ci sediamo ed ordiniamo subito, Prima considerazione: cameriere giovane, formalissimo, educato. Però glaciale, non un sorriso, non un "come state?" Fatta prenotazione....e poi più nulla....abbiamo aspettato credo mezz'ora... Poi arrivano i piatti: seconda considerazione erano tiepidi, quasi freddi.. Pietanze gustose fatte bene xò se vengono servite in un piatto di porcellana gelato ovvio che si freddano (ma li tenevano fuori alla neve?). Terza considerazione: altro cameriere apparentemente neofita, vagava per la sala con piatti in mano chiedendo di chi fossero. Non dava una bella immagine di organizzazione. Nel frattempo il locale si è riempito tutto; atmosfera calda, musica piacevole, non rumoroso (grande rarità) anche merito dei pannelli di legno onnipresenti. Però ho sentito parecchie persone intorno a me che si lamentavano dell'attesa. Poi arriva altro ragazzo che si mette a preparare una tagliata battendo su un tagliere di legno. X carità capisco che mostrava la qualità della carne ...che c'era tutta per carità....xò ha continuato a dare mazzate per un pò e si sentiva in tutto il locale. A me ha dato fastidio, sinceramente. Alla fine abbiamo deciso di uscire subito dopo il dolce (molto buono) senza aspettare il caffè (sennò faceva buio). Alla cassa ragazza molto cortese e veloce (una luce nella notte visto il pregresso). Spesa 30 euro a testa (senza bottiglia di vino). In conclusioni: locale con molte potenzialità ma....resta tanto...
