From the moment you arrive at Hotel La Piazzetta, Francesco and Maura make you feel like you have known them for years. They do everything they can to make you feel at home and have a perfect stay in Limone. ||The rooms are charming and rustic and also very clean. The hotel could not be in a better location to enjoy the village restaurants and bars. Deplorable Experience — Avoid at All Costs!

We stayed at this hotel in the center of Limone. Before booking, I specifically asked if there were any noise issues. The answer: “Absolutely not.” The reality? A karaoke terrace set up right in front of the hotel, blasting noise until 1:30 AM. And since the room has no air conditioning, you either suffocate or endure the racket.

On top of that, we were offered a “special deal” at €100… but only if paid in cash. Paying by credit card? The price magically increases to €110. Outdated and unacceptable practices.

And let’s not forget — no breakfast included, even though it was clearly agreed upon.

As for the room: a worn-out, rock-hard mattress, outdated furniture, decrepit bathroom (one shower panel even fell off), and a phone straight out of a flea market.

In short: everything you don’t want from a hotel stay. A place to steer well clear of.

🇮🇹 Esperienza pessima — Da evitare assolutamente!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel nel centro di Limone. Prima di prenotare, ho chiesto espressamente se ci fossero problemi di rumore. La risposta: «Assolutamente no.» La realtà? Una terrazza karaoke proprio di fronte all’hotel, con musica e schiamazzi fino all’1:30 di notte. E con una camera senza aria condizionata, bisognava scegliere se soffocare o sopportare il frastuono.

In più, ci è stata proposta un’“offerta speciale” a 100 €… ma solo in contanti. Se si paga con carta, il prezzo sale a 110 €. Pratiche antiquate e inaccettabili.

E per finire — nessuna colazione inclusa, nonostante ci fosse stato detto il contrario.

La camera? Materasso durissimo e consumato, arredamento vecchio, bagno fatiscente (con un pannello della doccia che ci è addirittura caduto addosso), e un telefono degno di un mercatino dell’usato.
