Lunch time, perfect weather. We were greeted by the winery's sommelier, gido. The place is beautiful, which pays respect to history and culture. You can hold small parties and even sleep in the rooms located in the winery. We chose a tasting meal that included many appetizers, plenty of flavors and aromas. Everything with a smile. My husband and I had a beautiful private tasting + lunch set up through a tour (booked through Etnamente- also highly recommend!). We were blown away by the beauty of this winery as well as the kindness of the owners, family, and staff here. Everyone was so sweet and made sure we had a beautiful experience. The food was delicious and the wines were just perfect, in such a peaceful and private setting. They really made us feel like honored guests and we felt so lucky for the experience. Absolutely perfect Sunday lunch and wine tasting! This property is gorgeous. It has been in the care of the same family since the 1800s. They are lovely people and so happy to share the beauty of Sicily with their visitors. Beautiful views of Mt. Etna. Tour the original buildings where the wine is still being produced.
