Ristorante Erasmo was a wonderful experience! Easy online booking, amazing hospitality and service and great taste. Cherry on top is the price. We are a family of 3 and had starters, main and dessers and paid 66€. The setting is very cozy and meals are prepped with love - I recommend the beef carpaccio as well as the “luccese cutlet”. You can’t go wrong with any of the dessers!

It's probably the best restaurant that I have visited for years. I had lamb "alla brace" and it was delicious. It exists since 1760, and if almost 300 years later it is still full, there must be a reason. Be careful if you have to cross the street if you are eating outside, but enjoy the history (and the meat, any kind)!

Stasera siamo praticamente a casa ovvero a Ponte a Moriano al ristorante da ERASMO. Storico locale che risale al 1760, con un’ottima atmosfera, resa ancora più particolare dai camini a vista. Qui abbiamo assaporato eccezionali piatti della cucina tipica lucchese con i veri sapori di una volta. La scelta è andata su due buonissimi antipasti misti per passare poi a un gustosissimo coniglio alla cacciatora e a uno strepitoso filetto alla griglia (di cui nella foto ne manca un pezzo perché non ho resistito alla tentazione di assaggiarlo…) Acqua, una bottiglia di vino Badiola, limoncello e cantuccini con vinsanto. My uncle and aunt recommended this place to my husband and I. They swore it was the best Italian food they've ever had. Boy were they right! This place is delicious. The bread was served warm and was smothered in olive oil. Yummy! Besides the food, the place has a unique history attached to it. It was founded in 1760. The women in the kitchen sang as they cooked.
