Bassa marea — Restaurant in Lungòni/Santa Teresa Gallura

Yes, the service is very friendly, and yes, the pizza Sarda was excellent. We were on our way to Olbia, and were afraid that restaurants would be closed upon arrival, so we decided to stop at the first open restaurant, that was Bassa marea, that has provided Alta quality food. I must say, that often, whatever and wherever we eat in Italy, it's often very good. So Bassa marea is probably not exceptional compared to other places, but for us, used to low quality Italian food at home, we can feel the difference...

Sorry about the first photo. It was so good, I started eating it before I remembered to take a photograph! A very unassuming restaurant on the side of a busy main road. Service and food were excellent. When we arrived at 7:10 pm, we were asked if we have booked, which we have not. No one else was in the restaurant! 7:30 pm there were another 14 couples. All enjoying the meal and having a fantastic evening. Definitely...

Mein Mann und ich wollten gerne anlässlich seines Geburtstages einen schönen Abend mit einem leckeren Essen genießen. Leider wurden wir maßlos enttäuscht. Wir kamen kurz nach Öffnung des Restaurants an, und es waren noch nicht viele Gäste da. Wir bestellen das Filet. Ca 10 Minuten später kam die Bedienung und teilte uns auf italienisch mit, dass nur noch ein Filet da wäre. Daraufhin bestelle ich für mich die Spaghetti Sempliciotti. Da die weibliche Bedienung nur Italienisch sprach, und wir die italienische Sprache nicht wirklich beherrschen, fragte mein Mann den Haupt Kellner, ob bei dem Filet French fries dabei wären dabei wären. Was er bejahte. Das Filet wurde jedoch ohne jegliche Beilage serviert. Mein Mann fragte nochmals nach den French fries, worauf der Kellner nickte. Also wartete mein Mann mit dem Essen bis das Filet kalt war; dann kamen die Pommes. Die Spaghetti entsprachen auch nicht der Beschreibung auf der Karte bezüglich der Zutaten und schmeckt praktisch nach gar nichts, lediglich ein bisschen scharf. Die Pommes wurden mit 5 € extra berechnet, und somit war das Filet, was auch nicht besonders gut war ziemlich überteuert.
