Trattoria La Vela — Restaurant in Malcesine

One of the highlights of our Lake Garda adventures was finding Trattoria La Vela. We didn’t take food photos, but if we had, you’d want to book a table immediately.

The real star of the evening was our waiter, Stefano, who gave us some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. Warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful, he turned a great meal into an unforgettable one for our family!

We went there after seeing all excellent reviews, first of all I was surprised that this place wasn’t really all about Italian cuisine- hamburgers, Wiener schnitzel etc. We took pasta dishes (3 different one including lasagna) all of those was underwhelming food wasn’t bad as per se but didn’t have any taste to it and was unseasoned- “baby food”. Tiramisu probably was old or defrosted or idk - it was worst tiramisu we had during whole two weeks in Italy.

Service was very cool but, it’s about food after all.

Would not recommend eating...

Was für ein Erlebnis! Diese Pizzeria hat alles, was das Herz begehrt – traumhafter Blick über den Gardasee, ein liebevoll gestaltetes Ambiente und ein Service, der seinesgleichen sucht. Stefano und Mathilde sind Gastgeber mit echter Leidenschaft: aufmerksam, herzlich und immer mit einem Lächeln auf den Lippen und einem Witz auf dem Tablett.

Die Pizza? Ein Gedicht! Knuspriger Boden, frische Zutaten, perfekter Geschmack – so wie sie sein soll. Salat - super frisch! Gebratenes Gemüse - so wie es sein sollte! Auch die anderen Gerichte waren einfach himmlisch. Man schmeckt: Hier wird mit Liebe gekocht.

Genau das Richtige für einen After-Kite-Lunch. Fünf Sterne sind eigentlich zu wenig!

Che esperienza! Questa pizzeria ha tutto ciò che si può desiderare – una vista mozzafiato sul Lago di Garda, un’atmosfera accogliente e curata nei minimi dettagli e un servizio davvero eccezionale. Stefano e Mathilde sono padroni di casa appassionati: attenti, cordiali e sempre con il sorriso.

La pizza? Semplicemente perfetta! Impasto croccante, ingredienti freschi, gusto autentico – come deve essere. Anche gli altri piatti erano squisiti. Si sente che qui si cucina con amore.
