Ristorante ai Torcoli Sas — Restaurant in Marano di Valpolicella

We had a wonderful afternoon at Ai Tircoli in the beautiful Valpolicella hills. The setting is charming and authentic, surrounded by vineyards and breathtaking views. You see Verona and even Bologna. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive.

The food was absolutely outstanding – traditional dishes prepared with care and passion, highlighting the authentic flavors of the Veneto region. The pasta was excellent, fresh, and full of character, perfectly paired with local wines from Valpolicella. Every bite reflected the quality and tradition of this unique place.

For anyone visiting the area, Ai Tircoli is a true hidden gem. We highly recommend it for those who want to experience genuine hospitality and authentic cuisine in a stunning setting...

Delicious lunch with a view! Our drive through the Marano town in Valpolicella led us to this lovely restaurant aptly named Ai Torcoli. We had not prebooked but were seated at the window with a lovely view of the valley town below (San Rocco?). Service was friendly, efficient and hassle free, especially considering they had to alter the menu to vegetarian requirements. Ambience relaxing. Our vegetarian options of polenta with mushroom, spinach spaghetti with carrot onion sauce, grilled vegetables and cheese, were all delicious and the dessert of pear poached in local reciota wine and served with home made icecream was simply the best. I would highly recommend this...

In due pranzo di lavoro . Non abbiamo Mangiato male … direi senza lode e senza infamia . Ma il servizio ci ha lasciato veramente perplessi. Il ristorante dispone di una sala interna e di un terrazzo . Abbiamo chiesto di poterci accomodare nel terrazzo ma ci è stato detto che il terrazzo era riservato a chi mangia “ alla carta mentre per i miserabili ha ha ha che mangiano con menu fisso obbligatoria la sala interna . A parte sottolineare come La sala interna fosse pietosamente disordinata con tavoli pieni di piatti sporchi e bicchieri ( non sparecchiati) tetra ,buia e brutta ….. ma ci è sembrato veramente una cosa assurda vietare L uso del terrazzo ( vuoto, un salo tavolo accupato con una palese discriminazione dettata semplicemente dal considerare Che mangiavamo con menù a prezzo fisso… Una scelta veramente assurda e molto stupida poiché i clienti del mezzogiorno potrebbero tornare anche alla sera non vi pare? Abbiamo trovato tale comportamento veramente offensivo discriminante ed ingiustificato.
