Ristorante MEAT M'AMA — Restaurant in Massa

Visited here whilst on a break in lerici. Looked on Google maps for somewhere that did meat dishes with a good rating because the area where were staying is close to restaurants that are all about fish & other seafood dishes. So this was the place we choose to go and I'm so glad we did even tho it took us 20-30 mins to get there. 1st time we visited we arrived at 11.45pm so 15mins before they was going to close. My missus went inside to see if there was a chance of still being able to get something to eat and they let us in and said we could only have a burger or pizza nothing else which we thought was fair enough. We both just got a mini burger fries and a bottle of beer. The mini burger was perfect with fresh meat and because of the time and them staying open for us we were grateful so we paid the bill gave a tip and left happy 😊. We returned a couple of days later for my birthday meal. There is an option on the menu for a tomahawk set meal for 2 for €45 pp including a dessert. The steak was cooked perfect and the staff were very welcoming and polite and with the music that was being played and the way the restaurants setting is we really got to enjoy the restaurant properly on this occasion. After driving for 7 hours and not finding a proper place to have a nice dinner we came across Meat M'AMA. They weren't open yet but they were so nice to offer us a seat and a drink with our 1 year old. After 20 minutes they prepared us a table with a comfortable high chair, and a plastic cup and fork for our son. Everytime he threw something on the ground, someone came to pick it up and give us a new one eventough we said it was fine. They even washed off his pacifier after he threw that too. The food was also very very delicious and the prices were good. We felt very welcome and well taken care of and it was just what we needed after a very long day. They all did this for us without any trouble and their English was also very good.

Fantastic atmosphere. Both inside and on the patio/terrace. On site parking available. Although the menu did not offer English translation our server was fantastic in helping us translate and make our selections. The dry aged steaks were cooked to perfection. The kids enjoyed their Burger, chicken sandwich and pizza. There is literally something for everyone on this menu. In my opinion the tastes, quality, atmosphere exceeded our expectations.
