Fiorentino — Restaurant in Mazzarino

This restaurant is located on the outskirts of Mazzarino and you have to go out of your way to find it. Even when you do it doesn’t look open, but just walk in it probably is. I had lunch here when visiting Mazzarino and I have to say the food is very good. We had a selection of fish, meat and pasta dishes and they were all delicious and reasonably priced. Even though we had difficulty communicating in tongue, the waitress was patient and helpful. There also seemed to be quite a few locals eating, that’s always a good sign. My only criticism would be it’s a bit of a bland restaurant (we were sat inside due to midday heat though) but hey ho, it’s the food...

This restaurant was promising at first. The spaghetti with clams as a first course was excellent. I asked the manager to give me recommendations but he was vague. I asked if the calamari was good and he said yes. It was not. Very chewy. Would not recommend. For dessert the tiramisu came to me still frozen! I also had a limoncello. They brought it to me in a plastic cup! What restaurant serves you with plastic!!! Very disappointed in...

Torno dopo vari anni. E non tornerò mai più... Locale nemmeno troppo affollato, ma evidentemente troppo "distratti" dalla partita della Nazionale... Più di un'ora di attesa per 3 pizze, che sembravano più che altro pane farcito..... Nonostante le lamentele, fra l altro esposte davanti al gestore che ha fatto finta di niente, le pizze non arrivano. I clienti accanto al nostro tavolo, che avevano una bimba 'speciale' e avevano giustamente necessità di farla cenare, ricevono le loro due portate e non la pizza, e decidono di andare via... Tremendo, ci sono altre scelte in paese,...
