It seems to be a discrepancy between what opening time Google shows on maps and what is the actual one (19.30), nevertheless we arrived at 19.00 and while the restaurant was not officially opened we were invited in and we could order drinks and wait. The food was great, my wife took some home made pasta with ricotta tomato sauce and was great, my daughter wanted ragu pasta which was devoured and I took diavola pizza, but while the pizza looks great I can only say that it wasn't something outstanding, it was good but I expected more. Wonderful meal, everything was just perfect, both pizzas, pasta with seafood, shrimps and fried calamari. Everything is homemade from scratch, also the fresh pasta. The quality of the ingredients, mixed to the skills of the cook and the pizzaiolo make this a fantastic place to have dinner. The atmosphere is friendly and cosy, on summer they have tables outside in a public square in front of the restaurant. Gemma gastronomica incastonata nel cuore della città di Melendugno. Presenta un unica piccola sala interna con volte a stella, molto suggestiva per via della particolare illuminazione, e con il plus del forno a legna a vista. Durante la stagione estiva è possibile inoltre cenare nella piazza antistante il locale. Atmosfera accogliente allietata da piacevole musica di sottofondo.Trattandosi di una trattoria-pizzeria, il menù si presenta molto variegato, spaziando dai piatti tipici della tradizione salentina sia di mare che di terra ( tra cui: turcineddrhi, sagne n'cannulate, cozze gratinate..), a una buona proposta di pizze; La CARNE, di assoluta qualità, grazie a una cottura ottimale rimane SUCCOSA e TENERA ( non c e bisogno neanche del coltello per tagliarla!!); viene, inoltre, accompagnata con tipologie di sale diverse che ne esaltano e ne rendono ancora più particolare il gusto; La PIZZA, con centro dalla consistenza ottimale e cornicione più sviluppato  scrocchiarello fuori ma soffice al centro, è una delle MIGLIORI della ZONA. Pilastri di un prodotto di così alta fattura sono:

1. un IMPASTO fragrante grazie al particolare blend di farine impiegato;
2. una COTTURA IMPECCABILE;
3. la MAESTRIA e la PASSIONE del PIZZAIOLO, nonché proprietario;
4. la QUALITÀ e PARTICOLARITÀ degli INGREDIENTI usati ( tra i pochi ad usare la bufala nera). Inoltre, partecipano a rendere questo posto una TAPPA OBBLIGATA nel panorama food del Salento un servizio cortese e disponibile, con personale simpatico e mai invadente e un tempo di attesa...
