amazing staff, attentive, knowledgeable, kind. not too much english spoken but that’s okay. the dishes were so interesting! it was like a fine dining but it didn’t feel unwelcoming. the chef pushed conventions with the dishes. kept true to traditional calabrese styles but tried new ways of preparation and presentation. the antipasto was amazing and we split both the mains, as recommended by the waiter. if we were hungry we could opt for the secondo but it was lamb that night and i’m not a lamb fan, nonetheless i was full anyway. this was a no menu establishment, €75 for two people + bottle of librandi wine and we were full. would recommend and would return! the views and setting of the restaurant were so lovely as well, right by...

Quite good menu from the mountains and the sea. Very good quality products and delicious food. Probably the best of Torre Melissa now. The team was very nice and helpful. Ambiente bellissimo, cibo di qualità (a parte la frittura di calamaro palesemente non fresco, gommoso quindi non appena pescato), voglio solo dare alcuni suggerimenti per migliorare e non per mera critica, nella presentazione iniziale essere più chiari, sulla modalità di servizio (ad esempio come vengono serviti gli antipasti, cioè piccole porzioni per tipologia) in modo tale che chi ha bambini possa regolarsi su cosa ordinare per loro, e maggiore chiarezza sul prezzo, perché va benissimo non avere un listino perché si offre quanto pescato quel giorno, ma almeno sapere che se si spende oltre 50euro a testa, vista la qualità, le porzioni potrebbero essere leggermente più generose, ripeto, per maggiore trasparenza. Perché il servizio può essere simpatico, ma la qualità deve essere a 360 gradi. Spero possiate accoglierlo davvero come suggerimento, in particolare l'attenzione ai bimbi. Neo finale, dopo aver pagato il conto ci viene offerto caffè e amaro, con la bimba addormentata in braccio da oltre mezz'ora, abbiamo atteso un quarto d'ora e non vedendo arrivare nulla siamo andati...
