Went for a lunch with my wife while on vacation in Sicily. Ordered 3 kinds platter of carpaccio. Truffles & mushroom pasta for my wife & aaa wagu ground meat with some greens in mushrooms gravy. Carpaccio - delicious Pasta - very tender & flavorful Meat ( ordered medium ) - came overcooked & slightly burnt greens Service - horrible From a walk in ( me dressed in a tank top, espadrilles & linen shorts; reason being of lots of walking under 85+ heat ) received an unpleasant welcome. Asked a waitress for an order and was told to give it a min while she stood by the counter looking into her iphone. I ordered a fanta and my wife - aperol spritz… 10 min later & reminder - were told that fanta is coming and aperol spritz is not available … Changed to wine … glass of wine came with a glass bottle of fanta ( no glass given ) … Overall, not easy to communicate in English ( given credit of English language menu availability ) and service quality is lacking; food is great ( if you choose the...

I had high expectations for this restaurant based on other reviews...and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. We booked a table online for 19:30, but the restaurant doesn't open until 20:00. We arrived a few minutes early and they accommodated us anyway. We ordered from the English menu and did the "taster" menu. Since the menu was a bit outdated in English, we placed our trust in the senior service person to create something similar for us. We had a SIX course meal with Brute rose champagne and explored some food choices I never would have tried on my own! Very, very pleased with the whole evening thanks to the staff!! locale dall’aspetto accogliente, ma qualcuno del personale non si rivelerà tale. avevamo un tavolo di 9 persone prenotato per un martedì a cena, una volta seduti immediatamente i camerieri scattanti hanno portato menù, si sono preoccupati delle bevande e dopo aver ordinato è anche stato servito un antipasto di “benvenuto”. l’attesa è stata minima, tutti i piatti del tavolo sono stati serviti contemporaneamente e qualsiasi nostra esigenza è stata immediatamente esaudita dai camerieri (assolutamente professionali). come accennato in precedenza non si rivelerà assolutamente professionale l’ultima figura con la quale abbiamo avuto a che fare, la cassiera, la quale al momento del conto con fare sgarbato insisteva a effettuare il pagamento nella maniera in cui a lei sarebbe risultato più semplicemente (“alla romana”), non ascoltando minimamente le esigenze da noi esposte. oltretutto a detta sua non aveva neanche i contanti per il resto, continuando a sbuffare ogni qual volta le si presentassero dei contanti al posto delle carte di credito (anche se non capiamo come mai dato che il suo lavoro è proprio quello di fare i conti e dare il resto). i suoi modi arroganti e sprezzanti nei nostri riguardi ci hanno non solo messo in imbarazzo e umiliato davanti alla sala intera ma anche rovinato quella che sarebbe dovuta essere una bella serata tra amici. se andate a mangiare al Toro Nero, mi raccomando, non portate banconote da €50 ma solo soldi spicci evitando così che gli stessi vi verranno...
