BBQ-1 Filipino Style BBQ & Cuisine — Restaurant in Milan

Was really looking forward to trying their food but ended up very disappointed by the lack of flavour

Sari sari platter - had no taste at all. I think they forgot to add salt in the marinade of the bbq, liempo and chicken. And the flavour had a distinct Chinese spice that we don’t really use in Filipino bbq. Even the sisig had no taste. Everything in the platter was bland.

Adobo - mediocre, nothing special. Too much vinegar. No balance.

Lumpia - texture of filling was like a luncheon meat.

As a Filipino with mad cravings for Pinoy bbq, I ended up feeling unhappy...

It was a nice experience. We’ve ordered 3 large menu with different toppings on it. Let’s say it’s not bad taste was good. We ordered too the soup noodles (Lomi) the taste was good but the topping is small portion 2 small pcs of pork belly and there was fish ball. Serata di compleanno con amici e famiglia. Locale/ristorante Filippino Piccolo informale che potrebbe contenere più o meno sui 23/26 persone all’interno. Pulito e carino. Buon Cibo Bbq filippino, Shanghai e altre piatti tipici. Soprattutto il liempo di maiale é buonissimo!!! Vi consiglio pure il Bicol xpress. Offrono la portata Kamay, che è una portata abbondante con riso e vari tipi di bbq + sisig. (Per esperienza… se siete in poche persone é consigliabile ordinarlo, ma se siete in tanti…forse è più consigliabile il poké). L’unica cosa da migliorare è il servizio. Gli staff non ci hanno chiesto/offerto l’acqua… non erano molto attenti in questo, una sembrava un po’ seccata quando chiedevo posate, bicchieri, portate in più ecc… sinceramente dovevano provvedere loro a chiedere. Mi sono sentita un po’ a disagio… Per il resto ci son venute incontro aggiungendo un tavolo in più, siccome avevo prenotato x 16 e invece son venuti 20😅.
