If you want the truest Italian experience - come here!!! It’s an epitome of a local joint - a small friendly delicious no frills affordable lively self-service place, that gets packed with families, kids, grandmas, dogs in the evenings!

We’d never have found this place if it was not for a friend who lives in the area, and we’ve been coming here every time we’re visiting Milan for years now. We’ve never seen any other foreigners here, by the way.

They have canolli, arancini, pasta, panzerotti and other South Italian things - all simply amazing and in our opinion much better than the stuff we get in the city center. The guys that run it know some English, enough not to leave us hungry, but be prepared to...

The arancini with ragu was SO GOOD! We got the last 2 at about noon so don’t get there late! The pastries were good, espresso was fantastic. I was not a fan of the spleen sandwich, personally. It was done well, I just don’t think spleen is an organ I’d seek out again. (It was a texture thing I think - like eating flabby, watered down liver. I like liver, tripe, and other organ meats generally, but this wasn’t my taste.). Staff was very helpful and patient; we only speak English and there were only two folks there that spoke English that were both VERY busy, but they were kind and answered our questions. Kind of a cafeteria vibe in the back room but pleasant, and has a public bathroom for hand...

As a self-proclaimed foodie and a lover of authentic cuisine, I have to say that my recent visit to Mama's Authentic Kitchen was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in a cozy corner of town, this gem offers a culinary journey that transports you straight to the heart of its cultural roots.

From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for what was to be an unforgettable dining experience. The décor is charming, with traditional elements that reflect the heritage of the cuisine, creating an atmosphere that feels both...

Giving 4 stars due to the great arancini with ragu, I got the last 2! We enjoyed the expresso, and the strawberry cake. The cake was good but a touch too sweet on the outside. I don't recommend the speen sandwhich. Worth it if your in the area for the Arancini. If you only speak english this will be a challenge unless you order the pre made food by pointing.
