Visited yesterday evening after looking at TripAdvisor. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the server helped us to understand the menu as our italian isnt great. I ordered some grilled prawns as i wasnt hugely hungry and my boyfriend ordered a seafood risotto. When the food arrived i found my prawns had gone off, im not sure how this went unnoticed as there was an obvious strange smell to them. The risotto was better and could have been very nice, but the rice was undercooked and im unsure that it was risotto rice. we also recieved a salad, although im not sure it should be called that as it was a bowl of chopped leaves and a large sliced tomato with no dressing. they took the prawns off the bill and were very professional about it all. the ice creams are lovely, so there is a positive. looking at the other reviews im unsure what happened to us with regards to quality but i hope it was a one off as the place itself...

Read moreI had a wonderful dining experience in this traditional Italian pizzeria. I was told it's been 50 years in business. The vegetarian funghi pizza was fresh and cheesy. Tiramisu was from authentic traditional recipe.
Overall the food was not neither too salty, nor too sweet, just the right balance for me to savour the natural flavour of the fresh ingredients. I'll certainly return for other dishes!
