Where to start… We booked this property for our honeymoon trip. When we arrived we realised that they only have public parking - the hotel is by the beach so of course the parking is full of locals enjoying the beach. We received no special welcome whatsoever (other much CHEAPER places gave us prosecco or left a nice congratulations message in our room…). The “upgraded” room is not what we expected - basically a room with a bathtub instead of a shower, with a dirty window in it with a view onto a construction site. We went to ask whether the window could be cleaned, but the nice lady at the reception kept repeating that they cannot clean it every day like I am some child who couldnt understand her. But this was all minor issues. For the three nights we were going to stay, they have informed us that one day we could not use the facilities because there would be a wedding - we had no problem with this. However, the week of our arrival they wrote to us that on the first night of our stay they would have an “event (dinner+music)”, which we assumed would be something like a band playing during dinner. This of course also meant we could not use the facilities in the evening. This event turned out to be a full-blown EDM disco until 2am with music so loud the bass could be felt on the bed. In the morning we had to deal with a quite rude hotel manager who kept saying that we were informed - but we were not - they were purposefully vague in their messages. So out of 3 nights booked we could not use the facilities during 2 of them. In the end we agreed for a 50% refund and early check out. We left and stayed at a much nicer family-owned property that actually cares about the experience of their guests. Ngonia Hotel should decide if they want to be a hotel or a...

This week, we had the pleasure of organizing a wedding at Ngonia Bay for the second time — and once again, it exceeded all expectations. Nestled on one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, Tono Beach, this venue is a peaceful oasis in the lively town of Milazzo. The lush internal garden provided the perfect setting for an intimate civil ceremony. Afterwards, the couple and their guests enjoyed a relaxed aperitif on the panoramic terrace, with breathtaking views of the sea, Milazzo Castle, and even Mount Etna in the distance. Dinner was a true celebration of Sicilian cuisine — refined, elegant, and full of authentic flavor. But what really sets Ngonia Bay apart is the team. Director Luca is incredibly hands-on and attentive, ensuring every couple’s day is nothing short of perfect. The entire staff is highly professional, kind, and genuinely involved — and they all speak excellent English, which is a real plus for our international events. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Ngonia Bay. You helped us create a truly unforgettable wedding day. We can’t wait to return. Thank you so much,...
