We first visited this agriturismo last Summer, and found the experience delightful. This year the overall experience was even better. What led us first to the location is the fact that it is close enough to the commercial centre in Catania, yet right in the Mount Etna region. We could therefore enjoy the fresh air of these surroundings, and get to Catania, Etnaland and Gole Alcantara in less than an hour by car. The property offers a wide range of services intended for families that wish to enjoy a peaceful holiday away from the city: Breakfast and dinners al fresco with unobstructed views of Mount Etna, the vineyard surrounding the property, as well as distant sea views; family rooms enjoying views and equipped with a kitchenette; a playing field; a play area in the restaurant; and a beautiful large pool with lava stone, ideal for children as the water is just the right temperature. Other services can be booked to enjoy an even more leisurely stay: beauty treatments beneath a gazebo with views of the vineyard, and horse riding in the surrounding woods, to mention a few. The staff and host are simply superb. Patrizia and Michele run the show in the restaurant. Patrizia prepares delicious meals using only simple and seasonal ingredients. She plates balanced and simple home-cooked dishes with a creativity deserving the surroundings. Michele then completes the dining experience with his attentive and poised manners. Angela, the host, overseas all the aspects of the agritourism experience by helping guests make the most of what her splendid property has to offer. Years ago, together with her husband, she renovated a dilapidated part of Milo, the village in which the property is situated, and turned it into a paradise for the senses. She is a very sweet lady who has made it her life mission to treat visitors choosing Sicily as a holiday destination with utmost respect and care. You will be...

Read morewe stayed here for most of our stay in sicily, but very much doubt we will ever return.||||When we arrived, we wer welcomed with a delicious dinner and the waitress, forgot her name, a very young girl, was lovely, she really took care of us, but this is wer all the hospitality stopped, and we never met this lovely lady again during our stay.||||however the problems then started, at dinner we wer asked to hand over our passports, which would be returned in the morning, this was an utter lie! the passports remained at the owner and wer not even handed back on our departure - we had to turn back for these.||||Our room, was minute, compared to others staying with us, it had an exact space for just a double bed and a wardrobe, this was linked to another bedroom, we had no air conditioning and neither a fan or television. (a fan was later brought half through our stay after complaining a few times), one morning all rooms had no warm water, our shower drain was blocked, and upon departure when i was checking the room, the amount of dust/fluff under the bed along with a pouch left behind by another guest behind the bedside table.||||then came breakfast time, ham, cheese, bread, milk, cereal, eggs, occasionally an egg tart, honey, fruit & powdered orange juice. the problem was that either the place was on full occupancy, but whenever something finished at the breakfast table this was never replenished, we would get this to the attention of the staff, it would eventually get replaced after a good 10-15min, and still if something else finishes it once again remains empty! this really was ridiculous.||||Anyways, you can get my gist from above... ||||it really is a great pity, if only the staff are more attentive, rooms thoroughly cleaned, ||and owner a little bit more welcoming... ||||sorry for this review, but we all wer really disappointed as we do expect...
