To tell you the honest truth it was the most disgusting experience I have ever had. I am answering regarding the lunch we had yesterday which was booked under charlene taylor chetcuti. I have been in this industry for 48 years and to try to justify serving 5 main courses in different times is unbelievable. We had our potatoes first after some time we got our veg and after half an hour we got our meat apart from first serving my grandchild when you had asked us if we all wanted to eat together, then my daughter got her pasta after we got our main course after some time and finally after we all had finished my other daughter got her main course. This is apart from the fact that we heard arguments and shouting coming from the kitchen. To top it all no one bothered to apologise or offer a complimentary drink. The experience was so disgusting that I could not believe it. Do not even bother to answer please because you are so unprofessional that I cannot believe you are still operating. La mia esperienza a pranzo di lunedì in breve: quasi un'ora di attesa per tre piatti di pasta scotta, nonostante ci fossero circa 15 persone in tutto. Svariati piatti nel menù solo parzialmente o non disponibili per mancanza di alcune materie prime. Gusto del cibo ok tutto sommato. Camerieri gentili. Pizza non disponibile a pranzo.
Il locale non merita di sicuro 1 stella, ma nemmeno più di 3. Non so se ritornerò, ma se lo faccio spero di vivere un'esperienza migliore.
Allego foto delle linguine allo scoglio, con porzione sicuramente abbondante ma sugo completamente liquido (della stessa consistenza dell'acqua). Da notare che le vongole non erano disponibili (così come altri ingredienti), per cui spero si tratti di un'eccezione e non della normalità. C'è da dire che in mancanza delle vongole è stato aggiunto uno scampo e delle cozze in più, il che è stato perlomeno un gesto gradito.
My experience in a nutshell: a wait of almost an hour for three plates of overcooked pasta, even though only about 15 people in total were there. Several dishes on the menu were unavailable or partially available due to a lack of ingredients. The food tasted okay overall. The waiters were kind. Pizza isn't available for lunch.
The place certainly doesn't deserve 1 star, but not more than 3 either. I'm not sure if I'll go back, but if I do, I hope to have a better experience.
I've attached a photo of the linguine allo scoglio, with a portion that was certainly generous but the sauce was completely watery. You can somewhat see this in the bottom part of the image, although it's not very clear - my bad for running away without taking any pictures after not even finishing the dish. I want to stress though that clams (vongole) weren't available - like other ingredients - so I really hope the look of the dish is exceptional and not the norm. I must say that in the absence of clams, an extra scampo and some extra mussels were added, which was at the very least a thoughtful gesture.
Oh and by the way I'm a local - I think it's worth mentioning it, just in case someone thinks that I'm a tourist and I know nothing about...

I despise using the words overpriced or expensive as this is based on your personal budget. In this case it is appropriate. Way overpriced for the quality of product. The taste was poor for the "caliber" of the restaurant it was supposed to be. The average Sicilian prepares food in their own home far better. Total disappointment and will definitely not be returning....
