I agree with most of the reviews. The food is good, and the restaurant has a relatively elegant ambiance. This "elegance" somewhat compensates for the owner's "inelegant" approach: there’s no wine list, no prices displayed on the bottles—even when customers explicitly inquire about them—and no prices listed for the day's specials. This feels like a rather uncanny maneuver to con customers and prevent them from making informed decisions about how much they're willing to pay, especially when white truffle is involved! Not to mention the staff's strange behavior and blatant staring. So, if you enjoy being treated awkwardly and don’t mind spending 150€+ per person for a meal, you’ll be happy...

For the restuarant, if you look from outside, there really is nothing special nor fancy, but!!the food there are the best in town, Modena, so far!! Never once disappointed by them, ever!! And we have been there many times also with our guests and friends. They have good mushrooms, tartufo, typical italian food and Modeness food. Quite a variety. They also have vegetarian dishes available. The sweets are very good as well. The portion is big enough for one person to take first amd second dish plus sweet for dinner. Sala interna ben curata. Carta dei vini assente. Disponibilità molto scarsa di bollicine. Sugo de la tagliatella “al caminetto” discreto anche se non legato con la pasta, il problema è che le tagliatelle che mi hanno portato erano coriandoli. Sarebbe servito il cucchiaio per mangiarle decentemente. Il proprietario (persona comunque simpatica) ha motivato la cosa dando la colpa al caldo come se la pasta all’uovo andasse mantenuta a temperatura ambiente (no comment). Qualità del filetto appena sufficiente. Impiattato in un oceano di sangue. Gestione palesemente svogliata! Solitamente non critico i prezzi nei ristoranti ma il conto a mio modo di vedere è stato davvero troppo salato rispetto all’esperienza. Faccio menzione solamente del coperto: 5 euro a persona.
